Group opens art gallery at Garver Feed Mill
MADISON, Wis. — A performance art venue and community center has opened a shop and exhibition at the Garver Feed Mill.
“Communication” is an all-ages arts and music nonprofit based in Madison. the volunteer-run space is dedicated to growing stronger bonds with the creative community.
Right now, they sell roughly 90 artists’ works — all of whom have ties to Madison — in their shop.
“A lot of these are artists that haven’t exhibited a lot, have not been sold in a lot of brick and mortar shops, and we want to make sure that we pull down as many barriers to that for them as we can,” Jennifer Bastian, the venue’s communications director, said.
The gallery will be open Thursdays through Sundays until March 20.
