Green County organization buys family new dog after pit bull attack
A Monroe family has added a new member after a traumatic experience a few weeks ago.
On Aug. 17, two pit bulls got out and attacked and killed the Buehler family’s dog, Buddy.
After Buddy died, a community organization called Green County Fall Nationals decided to buy a new dog for the family.
But the organization didn’t just pay for the dog — it also took care of the veterinary expenses and bought dog food and treats.
The Buehler family said it misses Buddy, but the new dog Max has made them feel better.
The pit bulls that attacked Buddy last month have since been euthanized.
