Golden Knights bounce back to tie series with Jets

Jonathan Marchessault scored twice for the Vegas Golden Knights as they won 3-1 in Game 2 on Monday night to tie up their Western Conference finals series with the Winnipeg Jets.

Tomas Tatar opened up the game’s scoring at the 6:37 mark of the first period, about four minutes before Marchessault’s first goal.

Kyle Connor scored on a power play in the third period for Winnipeg’s only goal before Marchessault added his second goal of the night.

Marc-Andre Fleury finished with 30 saves in the road victory, while Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuyck stopped 25 goals.

The series will continue with Game 3 at Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday night.
