Ginger A. Ackerson
JANESVILLE—Ginger A. Ackerson, age 65, of Janesville, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center. She was born in Edgerton on Dec. 10, 1946, the daughter of Paul and Virginia (Bruhn) Ludden and was a graduate of Edgerton High School. Ginger married Michael F. Ackerson on July 29, 1988 at Luther Valley Church. She enjoyed collecting decorative glassware, fishing, gardening, flowers and was a huge Green Bay Packer fan. Ginger was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; 3 children: Paul (Fiance’ Deborah Beth) Hutto of Janesville, Tom (Fiance’ Kim Vaughan) Anderson of Milwaukee, and Laura Anderson of Janesville; 5 grandchildren: Lee (Emily) Hutto, Fallon Hutto, Draven Hutto, Baleigh Anderson, and Braelyn Anderson all of Janesville; a great grandson, Blaine Updike; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Ray Reilly; a sister, Jeannette Pelikan; and a nephew, Joseph Pelikan.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY. Services will be private and entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
