Giannis Antetokounmpo named captain of Eastern Conference All-Star Team
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was named a starter and captain of the Eastern Conference All-Star Team on Thursday night.
It’s the Greek Freak’s fourth-straight All-Star Game nod, and a well-deserved one for the reigning MVP.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James joins Antetokounmpo as the captains for each conference for the second year in a row.
Giannis is joined with his squad so far by Kemba Walker, Trae Young, Pascal Siakam and Joel Embiid.
The game will be Feb. 16 in Chicago, with James and Antetokounmpo hosting a draft for their rosters on Feb. 6.
