Gaugert, Ferrell win Wisconsin Junior PGA Championship

One of the bigger golf tournaments of the summer wrapped up Wednesday at Yahara Hills golf course.

Over 400 players were in Madison for the Wisconsin Junior PGA championship.

Former Waunakee golfer Zach Gaugert wins the two day event with a two day total of 134. He finished the tournament 10 under. 

Former Middleton golfer Mitch Johnson finished tied for second.

On the girls side Edgerton’s Brooke Ferrell wins the girls title with a two day total of 142. She was 2 under for the tournament.

Edgewood’s Lexi Graytek finishes tied for second. 

The winners now advance to Nationals July 31st in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
