Gas station robbed for the second time in a week
Station offers reward to find man involved
TOWN OF BEAVER DAM, Wis. — The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said a gas station south of Beaver Dam has been robbed twice in the past week, and the station is now offering a reward to find the perpetrator.
The latest incident happened Tuesday night at the BP in the 1100 block of South Madison Street in the Town of Beaver Dam.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, no weapon was displayed in the robbery, but the sheriff’s officials said the clerk acted appropriately since he didn’t know if the man may have been hiding a weapon.
The sheriff’s department said the man took off on foot to the north of the gas station toward the Lakecrest Drive apartment complexes
Deputies are looking for a thin white man between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 10 inches tall. The sheriff’s department said he was last seen wearing a dark blue or black sweatshirt with a bandanna across his face.
The gas station is offering a $500 reward for credible information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man involved. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
