Freezin’ for a reason at 2020 Polar Plunge
MADISON, Wis. — The cold didn’t stop people from freezing for a reason Saturday morning.
The annual Polar Plunge at Olin Park benefited the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the group.
Participants jumped into icy Lake Monona to raise money so Special Olympics athletes can go to competitions and get health screenings.
