Frank Productions to buy High Noon Saloon
MADISON, Wis. — Frank Productions is planning to buy the High Noon Saloon on Madison’s east side, officials from the concert promotion company said in a news release Friday.
High Noon opened in 2004, after owner Cathy Dethmers lost her former venue, O’Cayz Corral, to a fire in 2001. In the release, Dethmers said the time is right to make a change after more than 20 years in the business.
Frank Promotions will begin applying for licenses from the city in the near future and could take over the venue by May, the release said. High Noon will continue to operate during the transition.
The High Noon Saloon is one block from Frank Productions’ planned 2,500-seat venue, The Sylvee, which is expected to open in 2018. Officials said they expect the facilities will be complementary partners.
