Fran began her career as a secretary at Corn Ferry in Chicago, and after taking time off to raise her family, returned to administrative roles with Harris Upham, and later the University of Wisconsin Foundation.

Fran’s faith was very important to her, and she played an active role in the development and day to day operation of St. Peter‘s Catholic Church for 25 years beginning with its inception in 1968. Fran was responsible for the weekly bulletin, annual directories and many, many mailings. She was active in the Ladies’ Guild and gave her services to many a bazaar, church-sponsored meal and funeral luncheon. In 2008 she relocated to New Prague, MN.
