The team announced Brust’s new position, saying he’ll make his radio debut Tuesday night when the Bucks take on the Brooklyn Nets in their season opener. Brust will join the team’s new play-by-play announcer Dave Koehn in the radio booth.

Brust played for the Wisconsin Badgers during the team’s 2014 trip to the Final Four. He left the university as the school’s all-time leader in three pointers made. He later went on to play with the Bucks Summer League team in 2014 before playing overseas in Lithuania’s top league during the 2014-15 season.

In the time since, Brust has hosted local sports talk radio show called “Scalzo and Brust,” which airs each weekday on 94.5 FM ESPN Milwaukee and 100.5 FM ESPN Madison. He’s also worked as a television color analyst for college basketball games on the Big Ten Network since 2017.
