The commitment ends a wild two years for King. In the middle of the 2019-2020 season, he left Wisconsin and then briefly committed to Nebraska, but instead of playing for the Huskers the La Crosse native signed an agent.
After going undrafted in the NBA G League Draft, King was granted a waiver by the NCAA to be eligible for the 2021-2022 college basketball season.
King joins former Badgers Trevor Anderson and Joe Hedstrom at Valparaiso next season.
