Tuesday, October 20
A hearty bowl of soup really does warm the soul. Attend Sur La Table’s Flavorful Fall Soups class to try out and take home some new soup recipes to get you geared up for another Wisconsin winter. 6 p.m., $34

Wednesday, October 21
Lakeside Street Coffee House invites you to Paint Nite: a creative and yummy opportunity for you to relieve stress by painting, sipping beer and eating artisan pizza, sandwiches and salads. 7 p.m., $45

Thursday, October 22
Eighty-eight restaurants are participating in Dine out for DAIS, a one-day only benefit that brings support and awareness to domestic violence victims. All you have to do is dine at one of the participating restaurants, which pledge to donate ten percent of their proceeds from Thursday to the DAIS center. 12:30 a.m.

Friday, October 23
Come out to Middleton for the Bloom Bake Shop Open House, where complimentary Bloom treats and Furthermore Beer will be served while you shop your favorite local stores. 6 p.m.

Saturday, October 24
Attend Madison’s only contract brewery Octopi Brewing & 3rd Sign Brewery’s Grand Opening to try out innovative beers, like Madagascar Vanilla Mild Ade of Sumatra, and enjoy live music and local food trucks. 3–9 p.m.

Sunday, October 25
At the Food Day: Celebrating Food Through Our Senses event held at Badger Rock Neighborhood Center, you’ll learn about the many foods, cultures and stories within our community. Enjoy tastings, a Dane County food systems resource fair, kids’ activities, live music and more. 2 p.m.

Harvest will host a Cider Farm Dinner at the restaurant that honors the founders of The Cider Farm founders by working apples into each menu item. The night includes a serving of house made charcuterie, a Waldorf salad, seared pork belly spiced with apple jam and more. 6 p.m., $65
