Florida man struck pedestrian with car on State Highway 69, officials say
MADISON, Wis. — A vehicle driven by Richard A. Cefarriti, a 76-year-old man from Wesley Chapel, Florida, struck a pedestrian southbound on State Highway 69 when it crossed the fog line Tuesday at 4:45 p.m., officials said.
According to a Green County Sheriff’s Office release, Scott A. Kraemer from Black Earth was hit with the car near State Highway 69 and Rolling Acres Lane. He had injuries and was taken from the scene by ambulance.
Cefaratti wore a seat belt and had no injuries. His car had minor damage with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene, officials said.
Police cited him for lane deviation.
