Fitchburg police searching for suspect in credit union robbery
FITCHBURG, Wis. — Police officers responded to a robbery at UW Credit Union at 5:28p.m. on Thursday night. According to the Fitchburg Police Department, the single suspect demanded money from employees after revealing a handgun.
After receiving money from the teller, the suspect ran out of the credit union, located at 6331 McKee Road. The investigation is still ongoing, and Fitchburg police have encouraged anyone with information related to this incident to contact them at 608-270-4300.
