Fitchburg police investigate armed robbery at Radio Shack

Fitchburg Police said an electronics store was robbed at gunpoint in Wednesday afternoon, and officers need the public’s help in finding the people involved,

The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the Radio Shack in the 3000 block of Fish Hatchery Road.

According to police, three people entered the store, including two armed with handguns, and stole many electronic items, including a number of cellphones. The three then left the store heading west.

Police described the first person involved as a black man with a slender build, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a shaved head, wearing a yellow safety vest and jeans. The second person involved is described as a black man with a heavy build, curly hair, last seen wearing a red shirt and jeans. There is no description for the third person involved.
