Tuesday marks the opening of the first Levi’s store in Wisconsin at Hilldale Shopping Center, according to a release.

With the opening, Madison now has a Levi’s store that allows residents to try on and customize their very own piece of recognizable denim from the jeanswear brand originally established in 1873.

While there are two Levi’s outlet stores in Wisconsin — one in Baraboo and the other in Pleasant Prairie — the Madison store has the company’s new “Full-Service Store Experience.” Levi’s has a tailor shop, which is an extension of typical Levi’s stores across the country and offers styling, expert tailoring and full customization.

This location will also accept Venmo and crypto payments. They will also offer in-store pickup for online orders, curbside pickup and in-store personal shopping appointments. The shop also has fitting rooms with Google Lens to help customers find clothing.

The new storefront is located at 574 N. Midvale Blvd. between Lululemon and Twigs.
