Fire totals house, causes more than $150K in damage
Police: Fire initially called in by drivers on Interstate 39/90
TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS, Wis. — A fire caused more than $150,000 in damage and destroyed a home in the town of Pleasant Springs Sunday, according to a release.
Crews responded to 2671 Straus Drive around 11:50 a.m. for reports of a fire that was called in by drivers on Interstate 39/90, officials said.
The home was burned to its foundation and is a total loss, according to the release. Estimated property damage does not include the contents of the house, which was destroyed by the fire.
There were no injuries in the fire, officials said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
