Fire strikes home in Maple Bluff
Blaze caused $30,000 in damage
MAPLE BLUFF, Wis. — Maple Bluff firefighters were called out early Monday morning to battle a blaze at a home in the village.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Bayside Drive about 3:15 a.m. Monday.
According to the fire department, a police officer arrived first on the scene and reported flames and smoke coming from the rear of the home.
Officials said crews arrived on the scene and put out the fire within minutes of the call.
The home was being renovated and no one was at home at the time of the fire, according to the fire department.
The blaze caused $30,000 in damage and is still under investigation.
