Fire destroys home in village of Dane, officials say
Investigators believe an electrical issue may have caused a fire that destroyed a home in the village of Dane Tuesday night.
Dane County sheriff’s officials were sent to reports of a house fire at 108 Dane St. in the village of Dane just before 7:30 p.m., according to a release.
The occupant of the two-story house safely got out, officials said.
The home sustained significant damage, and is considered a total loss, according to the release. The fire is not considered suspicious. No injuries were reported.
