Fire damages home in Town of Dunn
Authorities investigate cause of fire
TOWN OF DUNN, Wis. — An overnight fire damaged a single-family home in the Town of Dunn.
Dane County sheriff’s deputies, along with personnel from Oregon, Fitchburg, and Town of Madison fire departments responded at about 12:55 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a fire at 4675 Goodland Park Dr. in the Town of Dunn.
Sheriff’s officials said a 24-year-old male resident and a 22-year-old female resident called 911 after waking up to a home filled with smoke.
They were both able to safely exit the residence. Both residents were treated at the scene by Oregon paramedics and released, sheriff’s officials said.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said the fire does not appear to be suspicious, but the exact cause has not yet been determined.
Damage estimates are unavailable at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
