Man knocked unconscious during State Street fight
MADISON, Wis. — A man who admitted to being drunk was knocked unconscious during a fight on State Street early Sunday morning, according to a release from Madison police.
The 22-year-old Lyons man told police he and a friend got into an argument with two other men in the 400 block of State Street. The arguments led to the victim and his friend getting punched in the face, police said.
The man was taken to the hospital with a head injury and regained consciousness Sunday morning. His friend got a bloody nose.
Police said neither man could provide an adequate description of the attackers.
