MADISON, Wis. – There’s a group of volunteers in Madison who make mittens out of old wool sweaters and donate the proceeds to local food pantries. They’re called ReMitts.
The group has raised $100,000 the past two years for Dane County food pantries.
Right now, ReMitts needs wool sweaters to continue making the colorful mittens you see at more than 30 locations around Dane County.
