FBI back in Oshkosh investigating
Agency won't reveal reason for investigation
OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is conducting another investigation in Oshkosh, but won’t divulge the reason.
FBI agents in unmarked vehicles were parked outside an apartment building and garage on Thursday. Oshkosh police say they are not involved in the investigation.
FBI spokesman Leonard Peace says there’s no danger to the public.
Police spokesman Joe Nichols says the latest investigation is not related to a joint investigation with the FBI of a University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh student who was recently accused of making the deadly toxin ricin. The Sun Prairie biology major was charged in federal court with possession of ricin.
