Family kicked out of restaurant files ADA complaint

Restaurant responds to viral video of family kicked out

A family filed a complaint with the Department of Justice over how they say they were treated at a restaurant in Wisconsin Dells.

Jennifer Beavers said she felt her son was discriminated against at Marley’s Restaurant when the family was kicked out after an argument.

The family tried bringing in McDonald’s french fries for their autistic son, who can’t speak and doesn’t eat most food.

The family has now filed a federal complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The owner of Marley’s said she asked the family to leave after she felt threatened.
