Exact Sciences to add second lab to host more than 1,000 employees
MADISON, Wis. — The cancer test company Exact Sciences is adding a second lab at the former Spectrum Brands building on Madison’s west side.
The company has already moved 350 workers into the former Rayovac Drive location, which has a new address, 1 Exact Lane. The second lab site will open in mid-2019, and will enable the company to process its DNA-based home cancer test kit, Cologuard, for more than 4.5 million people a year.
“Together, the new lab and expanded office space will form a vibrant employee campus complete with a cafeteria, health facilities and parking structures to attract top talent and support employee well-being,” Exact Sciences CEO Kevin Conroy said.
Future renovations could make the building home to more than 1,000 employees.
