Ex-boyfriend charged in Marshfield teen mom’s death
Man's bail set at $5 million
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. — Prosecutors have now charged a 20-year-old Marshfield man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend.
Gabriel Campos is charged with first-degree intentional homicide. He remains in the Wood County Jail with bail set at $5 million.
The body of 18-year-old Maisie McCullough was found Sept. 7 in the bathtub of the home the couple once shared. The couple’s 2-year-old son was with Campos when he turned himself in to authorities the next day.
An autopsy showed McCullough was stabbed in the back and her throat cut.
WSAW-TV reported that Campos is due back in court Nov. 12. His attorney did not immediately return a call for comment Monday.
