Evangeline “Eve” M. Moe
Evangeline “Eve” or later on “Chachi” Moe age 88, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Sauk Prairie Hospital surrounded by family.
She was born on July 22, 1929, the daughter of Orville and Myrtle (Barto) Baker. In Eve’s early life she enjoyed music and dancing and went to many dances with her dad Orville who played fiddle in a local band. Later in life Eve enjoyed working in the garden on her many vegetable and flower beds. She was united in marriage to Bud Moe on October 22, 1948 in Madison. Eve starting her working career at the Mazomanie Grade School as a Teacher’s Assistant and then later moved on to work at Patrons Mercantile Coop. She ended her working career at Issacs Soaps and Scents. She was the world best Beanie Baby salesperson.
Eve will be greatly missed by her children, Linda (Steve) Harrington of Arena, Nancy (Jim) Lindley of Black Earth, Steve (Joni) Moe of Mazomanie, Scott(Lori) Moe of Blue Mounds, and Sherie (Scott) Sutcliffe of Black Earth. Eva took great joy in her grandchildren, Kelly, Meagan, Collin, Angelica, Brandon, Nate, Zach, Gretchen, Tyler and Garrett; great grandchildren, Lane, Lauren, Wyatt, Hallie, Molly, Quinlan, Clara, Adian, Jaycob, Brieanna, Luella, Teagan, Beckett, and Zayden. She is survived by her sister, Cleo and nephew Ron Spataro, and son-in-law Joe Bloom.
She was preceded in death by her parents by Orville and Myrtle Baker, husband Bud Moe, and daughter, Gail Bloom.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Sat. Jan. 20, 2018 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Hwy 14 West, Mazomanie. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Vermont Twshp.
