Ethel M. Osterholz
Ethel M. Osterholz, 87, of Platteville died on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Epione Pavilion, Cuba City.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Lutheran Church of Peace, Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Ethel M. Osterholz Memorial Fund. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.

Ethel was born on October 16, 1926 in Belmont, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Schambow) Mohlman. She attended Platteville schools and married Charles M. Osterholz on October 9, 1950. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1998.
Ethel worked at the Platteville Egg Plant and Burgess Battery Factory, Platteville. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church of Peace, Platteville and VFW Auxiliary Post #5274. She enjoyed gardening, and all of the friendships she made while at Epione Pavilion. Ethel loved to be with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Linda) and David (Tina) Osterholz all of Platteville; three daughters, Brenda (Scott) Bartholomew of Lodi, WI; Barbara Osterholz of Platteville; Krista (fiancé, Steve Kitsemble) Ziegler of Middleton, WI; 8 grandchildren Michael (Stephanie) Osterholz, Matthew Osterholz, Jason VanNatta, Kelly (Andy) Shea, Tony (Laura) Bartholomew, Kayla Bartholomew, Elizabeth and Emily Ziegler; 4 great-grandchildren, Devyn and Kennedy Shea, Charles Bartholomew, and Kalylah Gilland. She was preceded in death also by her parents, brothers, Harry, Frank and Jesse Mohlman and sister, Florence Heins.
