Enhancing the menu with melodies

You know what would go great with that fish fry or jambalaya? A side of live music.

Fortunately, several local restaurants excel in the art of enhancing their menus with melodies. Every Friday, the Currach enlivens dinner with rousing Irish tunes at Brocach; the Capitol Square eatery also offers live Irish music on Sunday evenings. Buck and Honey’s in Sun Prairie regularly showcases the talents of local blues, pop and rock musicians. And for live jazz alongside a meal, don’t miss Liliana’s in Fitchburg, Louisianne’s in Middleton or downtown Madison’s Heritage Tavern, which welcomes such standouts as Gerri DiMaggio, Alison Margaret, Chris Wagoner and Dave Stoler.
