Electrician dies after incident at new Bucks arena construction site
MILWAUKEE — A 57-year-old man from Menomonee Falls died after falling off a ladder while working on the construction site of the future Milwaukee Bucks arena Wednesday.
The man was working as an electrician on the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center construction site, when, around 1 p.m., he started complaining about chest pain and fell off an 8-foot ladder and suffered traumatic injuries, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.
He was transported to Froedtert Hospital, where he was pronounced dead Saturday around 5:30 p.m.
Officials performed an autopsy Monday. The cause of death and release of reports is still pending, the medical examiner’s office said.
The construction site is at at 901 North 4th St.
