MADISON-Edward Osterhus, age 94, of Madison, died peacefully at home on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.
Ed served in WWII for 4 years as an aviation weather observer. Later, he spent 25 years as a welder for Nagel Hart. Eddie loved to travel and after his retirement, he and Ann spent 20 years touring the United States and Canada. They also spent time visiting Mexico, England, and France. The family has many treasured memories of the fun we had with him. We enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor and his zest for life.
Ed is survived by his wife, Ann, to whom he was married for 65 years. He is also survived by his two daughters, Pat Meyer (Mike Olivia) and Julie (Carl) TerMaat; grandchildren, Brian (Megan) TerMaat and Matthew TerMaat; and great-grandson, Landon TerMaat.
Per Eddie’s wishes, there will be private family services. On-line condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
