Edson L. Randall
Edson “Randy” Luther Randall (the fourth), beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
He was born on January 5, 1947 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, the son of Edson Luther Randall (the third) and Dorothy Randall. Edson graduated from Burlington High School and worked as a professional CAD drafter and contractor, retiring from Springfield Welding in 2016 – one of his most memorable projects and designs being the Monona Sails located at the corner of Monona Dr. and Broadway in Monona.
Ed enjoyed spending time with his family, his friends and his pets. He loved the outdoors, boating on Lake Wisconsin, the Green Bay Packers and listening to music (preferably Bob Seger). He always had a smile on his face and brightened any room that he walked into.
Ed is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Randall; his two daughters, Tracy Randall and Melissa Randall-O’Neil (husband James O’Neil); his aunt, Muriel Malsch; his brother, Greg Randall (Terry Wills); sister-in-law, Kathie Randall; son-in-law, Kevin Meza; his grandchildren, Taylor and Jaden Meza; his brothers-in-law, Randy Benson (Miles Hatch) and Ron Benson, and multiple nieces and nephews, all who loved him very much.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Ed Randall; his brother, Jim Randall; his daughter, Leslee Meza (Randall) and his aunt’s, Jean Cooper and Kathleen Malsch.
