Edgewood College announces new Vice President for Academic Affairs
MADISON, Wis. — Edgewood College announced on Wednesday that Angela Salas, Ph.D., has been appointed as Vice President for Academic Affairs/Academic Dean.
“I am honored to be joining an institution with such a profound influence upon its students and their future,” Dr. Salas said. “I look forward to helping to advance Edgewood College’s mission and vision of its best self.”
Salas began her career as an assistant professor at Adrian College in Michigan. She most recently served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Framingham State University in Massachusetts.
“Dr. Salas emerged from a very strong pool of applicants from across the country,” President of Edgewood College Andrew Manion said. “She brings extensive and substantive experience as a faculty member and as an administrator. She is ready to work with our faculty to not only advance our legacy of excellence, but also to shape the future of this community of learners.”
Salas will begin at Edgewood College on Nov. 30.
