Edgerton man faces felony charges, 4th OWI, officials say
TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS, Wis. — Dane County officials arrested Luke Zeimet, 28, of Edgerton, Saturday after responding to an alert of a reckless driver in the Town of Pleasant Springs, according to a news release.
Officials located the vehicle that had been reportedly swerving between lanes parked at the gas pumps at Road Ranger. They found the driver asleep at the wheel, the release said.
When deputies woke Zeimet, he allegedly drove away and entered a roundabout incorrectly before stopping down the road, officials said.
Dane County deputies arrested Zeimet on his fourth operating while intoxicated offense and cited him for allegedly driving the wrong way onto a divided highway, according to the release.
Officials said Zeimet is at the Dane County Jail on this felony charge.
