Edgerton man faces 6th OWI after traffic stop

A driver stopped for expired registration Saturday night faces his sixth drunken driving charge, according to a release.

Matthew S. King, 49, of Edgerton, was stopped around 11:50 p.m. on John Nolen Drive at East Lakeside Street, officials said.

King appeared to be intoxicated, police said, and after failing field sobriety tests, was arrested on a tentative charge of sixth-offense operating while intoxicated.
