Highway 12 Closure

BARABOO, Wis. — Eastbound lanes of Highway 12 between Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo were temporarily shut down after the highway pavement buckled Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The pavement buckled near Mile Marker 216 of Highway 12 — just beyond the Highway 33 exit — at about 4:20 p.m.

All eastbound lanes of the highway were closed while crews made repairs. Closures lasted for about two hours, with lanes reopening at around 6:15 p.m.
