Multi-vehicle crash causes delays on Eastbound Beltline; all lanes now open
MADISON, Wis. — All lanes of the Beltline near Todd Drive have reopened after a multi-car crash Thursday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. All eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked for about an hour before crews were able to open up some lanes of traffic. The right lane was cleared shortly before 4:15 p.m.
Delays are still expected to continue through the rush hour.
Dane County dispatch said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, but did not have an exact number. Ambulances were sent to the area, but no information was available on how many people may have been hurt.
