Havens' two goals are the difference
MADISON — Haley Havens scored two goals in the first half to help Madison East to a 3-1 win over Madison LaFollette in a girls soccer game at Lussier Stadium Monday night.
Havens scored in the 15th and 29th minute of the first half and her Lancers teammate Jamie Rozzell, added another goal in the 80th minute to pace the East offense.
Katie Feller gave LaFollette a 1-0 lead with a goal at 14:18, but then Havens scored just over four minutes later to tie the game. Havens second goal proved to be the game winner.
The Purgolders (6-7) claimed the Lussier Cup over their Eastside rivals, the Lancers (2-9).
