East side fire causes $30,000 damage Thursday
No cause has been determined for the morning blaze
MADISON, Wis. — Madison firefighters extinguished a structure fire Thursday morning on the East side of the city.
The fire department was dispatched to 324 Kedzie St. at about 7 a.m. A fire was burning outside the building that the team was able to quickly put out. Fire crews said the blaze was confined to an outside wood enclosure at the back of the building.
No one was taken to the hospital. Fire loss, which included damage to a collectible motorcycle, was estimated at $30,000.
The City of Madison Fire Department is still investigating the incident; a cause has not yet been determined.
