Earl Everett Kinder
Earl Everett Kinder, 64, of McFarland, Wisconsin, lost his battle with lung cancer at home surrounded by his family on October 25, 2014.
He was born on June 18, 1950 in Boscobel, Wisconsin to Ralph and Betty Kinder. He graduated from LaFollette High School in 1968. On July 11, 1970, he married the love of his life, Pamela Borman. They raised three children in McFarland. He started and successfully operated his own drywall company, KinRee Drywall in 1974 until he retired in 2012. In 1994 to 2010, he owned and operated a race car team with his sons, racing on Wisconsin short tracks.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, being outdoors and classic cars. He loved music, playing solitaire and watching the history channel and FOX news. He was an avid Nascar, Brewer and Badger fan. Due to his adventures and interests he always had a good story to tell and he was a lifelong jokester. He loved helping people and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Kinder; 2 sons, Kyle Kinder of Cottage Grove, WI and Kevin (Krissy) Kinder of Oregon, WI; daughter, Tara (Kevin) Lewis of Menomonee Falls, WI; six grandchildren: Alex, Marcos, Madalyn, Fayth, Olyvia and Alyse; and three siblings, Gordon (Georgia) Kinder, Karen Dixon and Sharon (Mike) Mohr. He is preceded in death by his parents. He was a loving husband, father and grandpapa who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home, 5701 Odana Road with Rev. Rebecca Ninke officiating. A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
