MAUSTON, Wis. — A 41-year-old Wisconsin man faces his seventh drunken driving charge after State Patrol troopers found him driving on the interstate near Mauston, according to a release.
State Patrol officials received a complaint Sunday of a possible impaired driver going south on Interstate 90/94 near mile marker 75, officials said. Troopers and local officers found the vehicle and stopped it just outside Mauston.
The driver, 41-year-old Daniel E. Struckrath, of Winnebago, admitted he had consumed alcoholic beverages and refused to participate in field sobriety tests, according to the release.
Struckrath faces tentative charges of seventh-offense operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
