Driver who hit signs in roundabout faces 4th OWI
FULTON TOWNSHIP, Wis. — A driver who failed to negotiate a roundabout faces his fourth drunken driving charge, according to a release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
Rock County sheriff’s deputies were sent around 11 a.m. to a crash in the roundabouts on Highway 59 and Interstate 39/90, officials said.
Investigators said a vehicle, being driven by 32-year-old Jeremiah J. McCarty, did not make it around the roundabout and hit a few signs in the process.
McCarty was arrested on a tentative fourth offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. He was also cited for operating a motor vehicle while revoked.
