MADISON, Wis. — A Madison woman was stopped on South Midvale Boulevard at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday when she got a green light and a speeding car blew a red light and hit her car.
According to an incident report, the woman had just started accelerating and saw a speeding car coming at her on Odana Road despite having a red light. The woman hit her brakes hard, but her car was still struck. She was not injured.
The other car rolled over, but the incident report said she couldn’t contact the other driver as he and his passenger got out and ran off.
Officers learned the car was listed as stolen out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Inside the car was a bullet, a digital scale and a partially smoked marijuana blunt, police said.
