Driver injured in crash with Metro bus

MADISON, Wis. — A Madison Metro driver was cited Tuesday on suspicion of a red-signal violation after a crash on the city’s east side, police said.
Madison police said the Metro bus was headed north on Ingersoll Street at 2:47 p.m. and a 60-year-old man was driving a car inbound on East Washington Avenue.
The bus and car collided, according to the report. The car driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.
