September is Chronic Pain Awareness Month, and it’s estimated that more than 100 million people in the U.S. have chronic pain — costing about $635 billion every year.

Those numbers are also growing as Baby Boomers get older, causing chronic pain to become more widespread than cancer, diabetes and heart disease combined.
