DOT meetings will discuss improvements to Highway 19

AAA predicts record holiday travel

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be holding public involvement meetings about the Highway 19 Safety Operations Study in Dane and Jefferson counties, according to a release.

The Highway 19 study focuses on 30.5 miles between Highway 12 and Springfield to Highway 89 in Waterloo, officials said.

The study has evaluated the existing roadway conditions, identified deficiencies and concerns, and analyzed improvements to safety and mobility, officials said.
