Donald L. Musch
Donald L. Musch, 76 of Mauston passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Madison.
He was born June 2, 1940 to Henry and Myrtle (Luke) Musch in Mauston, Wisconsin. Donald had one brother Henry Jr. and two sisters Janet (Bill) Miller and Evelyn.
Donald grew up on the Musch farm. As a young man he worked the canning factories in southern Wisconsin and also cut pulp wood for a living. From 1964 until his retirement he worked as a cement truck driver for Hiawatha Ready Mix Co. in Mauston. Don was a lifelong hunter and fisherman. He loved gardening and growing pumpkins and enjoyed sharing his produce and pumpkins with relative’s friends and neighbors. Don believed that everything that came from the earth was a blessing from our Lord. Don had a gentle spirit and a caring heart to everyone he knew.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Myrtle, his older brother Henry Jr., his younger sister Evelyn, his nephew Billy Miller.
Don is survived by his sister Janet, niece Hanna (Scott) Schmidt, nephew Hank Miller, great nephews Bryan (Libby) Miller, Jason Miller, Jamie (Mariah) Soderling, great great nephew and nieces Madisen Will, Brinkley Miller, Bryleigh and Jude Soderling, other relatives, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mauston where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be at the Mauston Cemetery.
