Domestic situation locked down school
TOWN OF SPRINGDALE, Wis. — A school in Mount Horeb was locked down because of a domestic situation on County Road P that ended around 10:30 a.m.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said the incident started at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when a man made threats to injure himself and others with a weapon during a domestic dispute.
Michael Krall, 36, is a war veteran who’s going to be given medical and psychological help, according to deputies. He was persuaded to surrender peacefully. Charges are pending.
The Intermediate Center in Mount Horeb was put in a hard lockdown from 9:10 a.m. until about 10:30 a.m. Sheriff’s officials said the school was locked down because the couple’s children attend it.
