Do Something Good: A gift of love

Do Something Good: A gift of love

Mother Teresa once said, “A day lived without doing something good for others is a day not worth living.”

The more “Do Something Good” stories I do, the more proof I have that there are indeed many kind, generous, selfless, and genuine people in our community.

I had the opportunity to talk with one of them. His name is Dana Crumpton.

He’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you asked him. For 10 years now, he’s made sure the Felicia Melton-Smyth Holiday Gift Drive doesn’t fail.

The drive provides gifts for clients of the Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin and their families.

This story, though, is filled with a couple of twists. They’re some of the reasons why Crumpton is the focus of this “Do Something Good” story.
